I read on my app for my upcoming cruise. RCI has low limit tables at noon for an hour. How low is low limit?

It's a $5 bet on the hand and $1 side bet on the Lucky Ladies.  Some days they will also have $2 Mimosas for those who don't get comped drinks (Prime or above rating) or have a drink package.  Some ships maintain a $5 minimum on blackjack and three card poker for most or all of the cruise.  Craps and roulette minimums are also $5 on many of the ships.

Never seen, nor played, where the Lucky Ladies was required.  Was always able to play a $6 straight bet.  Hate Lucky Ladies, think it is a losing bet.

 

I don’t usually play the $6 tables anymore.  I wait until there is a $15 table available.  Then blackjack still pays 3-2 rather than 6-5 on the lower limit tables.  That can make a difference money wise by the end of the trip.  Katherine

It certainly would as it increases the expected house advantage from 1/2% to almost 2%

I should have also said that you can play a $6 hand and skip the lucky ladies bet.

Yeah 6-5 is not blackjack, it's Twenty One. 

 

If you do play this horrible game (please don't) at least bet in $5 denominations or you will be short payed.

Once in Vegas I played lucky ladies $5 bet got the lucky ladies $1,000

I saw someone in Vegas get exactly that, the dealer had an ace up too, but no blackjack sadly!!!

Same!!!! My dear had ace up no BJ would have been $5000 instead of $1000 but I was happy nonetheless lol

We've seen $5 BJ tables when it's slow, but if a crowd comes in, expect them to raise the stakes.  And, it's not like Vegas, where you can be "grandfathered" in at the ante that you started with....either cough up more or stop playing.

An update. 

 

Was just on Allure and my friend got the lucky ladies with dealers BJ $5000

Responding to my own question.  Back from the Allure and low limit was for all tables Let it Ride, 3 card, UTH all $5. In the beginning of the week the tables all went back to $10 minimum however casino was not that crowded and they kept all the tables @ $5 except BJ which was $10 minimum
