jsf Posted April 25, 2019 #1 Share Posted April 25, 2019 I know this has been asked before but I can't find answer, do the S Class ships have USB ports for charging phones and cameras?
Rare cruisestitch Posted April 25, 2019 #2 Share Posted April 25, 2019 At this time, generally no, although a few people have reported that some tv models have a well-hidden one.
Rare mahdnc Posted April 25, 2019 #3 Share Posted April 25, 2019 There is a good chance that USB ports will be added to the staterooms of each S-class ship following their Revolution makeover (link for dry dock schedule). This is based on the observation that Millennium and Summit, the first ships in Celebrity's fleet to go to dry dock earlier this year, emerged with USB ports in their cabins.

Tourist1292 Posted May 11, 2019 #5 Share Posted May 11, 2019 I found a couple USB ports on the back of the TV on Solstice. But I have not tried it for charging. Even if it works, the USB port standard is only 0.5A which may not be sufficient for charging your device.
DogLover Posted May 11, 2019 #6 Share Posted May 11, 2019 (edited) Several years ago we purchased a high quality Anker multi-USB charger. The best part: we only need to take the cords for each device for charging and if traveling to a foreign country, one adapter/converter will do! These are allowed on cruise ships and we've not had a problem (used it on Regent Seven Seas, Royal Caribbean, Princess and Celebrity.) https://www.anker.com/products/variant/powerport-speed-5-ports/A2054111 Edited May 11, 2019 by DogLover wrong link in original post
Rare cruisestitch Posted May 11, 2019 #7 Share Posted May 11, 2019 (edited) I believe that model has surge protection, and therefore is not to be used on cruise ships. Edited May 11, 2019 by cruisestitch
Tourist1292 Posted May 11, 2019 #8 Share Posted May 11, 2019 Note the max total output for those multiple chargers. Some have rather low power that charge extremely slow once you plug in more than a couple devices even it has many ports. Get one with 60w and preferably with QC3.0.
