A few tips for New York! If you are staying at a hotel in New Jersey, please a lot of time to get to the port! NYC Traffic is horrendous on 12th Ave or 54th Street (depending on which route you take)! Make sure you know in advance what time which shuttle leaves when!

Good advice .... the tunnels and bridge have long backups in the morning for traffic heading into NYC during the week.

Previous posters have indicated that the shuttles use the GW Bridge and Henry Hudson Pkwy to get to the cruise terminal.   A local driver will know all the ways to get on the bridge from local streets. The GW bridge has 7 lanes into NYC and the HHP is the very first exit.

We did a park & stay with the Newark Ramada Plaza Bayonne Cape Liberty. Everything went smoothly including our shuttle to the port. No issues leaving our car there for the week. Would definitely recommend!
