A big loss for Cruise Critic and members; so much larger a loss for those who knew him, worked with him and loved him.  All my interactions with him were patient, professional, fair and prompt.  He's leaving some very big shoes to fill for all who know him.  RIP, Host Walt.

I'm so sad to read that while I was away, involved in the "real world," Host Walt died. Over the years Walt and I had made many connections, both on CC and in person.  He will be missed. 😪

Such a huge loss, both close to home and globally. His input and efforts for us all in cruising made for a better experience.
