BBC have now updated their article with a photo of the correct ship.

The biggest error I see in this article, and many other reports (Weather.com) is that Freewinds is NOT a US cruise ship.  She many be owned by the Church of Scientology, located in FL, but she never touches the US or any US owned islands.  She is a propaganda vessel (pun intended) for them, and training ship.  She is registered in Panama.  I suspect she can't pass SOLAS.  EM

The Freewinds was a Commodore Cruise vessel, before becoming the OT 8 training vessel.  Considering you have to have spend $500,000++ to reach OT 7, it may be the most exclusive ship in the world.
