Hello everyone. . . . It is once again time to Cruise. Welcome to the start of “LIVE” from Celebrity Summit. I will drive up to my pre-cruise Hotel today for my sailing on Celebrity Summit on Sunday for a delightful 7 Night Cruise to Bermuda. This ship has recently (March 2019) returned from a month-long dry dock to transform Celebrity Summit as part of Celebrity Revolution, Celebrity Cruises extensive modernization effort, with more than $500-million in upgrades across the fleet.

The all-new Celebrity Summit’s revolutionary enhancements include:

• Completely redesigned staterooms and suites

• Stunningly reimagined restaurants, bars and lounges

• Fully redesigned spa and casino

• All-new stateroom design in partnership with HBA and refreshed suite design by Kelly Hoppen

• Celebrities eXhale bedding featuring luxurious Cashmere mattresses

• Completely redesigned stateroom bathrooms, with state-of-the-art finishes and fixtures

• An all-new exclusive open-air hideaway – known as The Retreat Sundeck – for suite guests designed by Hoppen, featuring a new hot tub, cabanas, loungers, artwork, and more

• The Retreat Lounge – formerly Michael’s Club – an exclusive 24/7 lounge for suite guests designed by Hoppen, offering complimentary beverages, gourmet bites and concierge service

• A total of 30 new staterooms, including 13 new AquaClass Staterooms, seven new Ocean View Staterooms and 10 new Inside Staterooms

Beginning Sunday I will be posting “LIVE” daily with photos and comments about the public areas, cabins, as well as my activities during my three days in Bermuda. I will try to visit and post images of all of the Celebrity Revolution areas (The areas that I have access to.) I will be traveling with several Cruise Critic Members and it will be very nice to speak with them while onboard. I have spoken with several on previous cruises and will meet some for the first time. Several of these members love the Casino and I am hoping that Fortunes Casino could be very “Radio Friendly”

 

It has been cold and rainy in Maryland for 2019 and I am hoping for warm weather and a relaxing cruise. (Hopefully, with a valid wireless connection, keep your fingers crossed). Have a cup of coffee, relax and welcome aboard!
