Rare Radio Posted May 7, 2019 Author #101 Share Posted May 7, 2019 Hello everyone and good morning. Welcome to DAY 2 of "LIVE" from Celebrity Summit. At breakfast this morning I had a made to order omelette, and was surprised to hear that there is no Salsa in the Oceanview Cafe. . . Who in the ? What the ? For the live of ? No Salsa ? "Oh the Humanity" It turns out that the ship has salsa, but in on Deck 3 in the Cosmopolitan Restaurant for breakfast. I may have to have breakfast down there later this week. It appears that there may be some sun today. . . There are still heavy clouds but the sun is trying to peek through. . . We still have about 200 nm to go before Bermuda and passengers are getting antsy about being at sea. At least it is possible to be out on the decks without rain and high winds. I plan to attend the Bermuda Shopping and excursion talk this morning in the Theater. There will be a Officers vs Passengers Volleyball Competition this afternoon and Bohemian Rhapsody will be playing on the Big Screen in the Celebrity Theater. Last night I was surprised to see a rose was provided in a vase and a friendly reminder that clocks need to be turned ahead 1 hour before going to bed. This will put us on Bermuda time (Atlantic Time Zone) I enjoyed a Cafe Mocha this morning Cafe Al Bacio this morning where I set up the Radio Pressroom to make this post. It is very relaxing there for a coffee. Here are some photos from last night and this morning. . . Thanks for tuning in. Radio There are USB ports and 110V outlets in the lamp base It is easy to get to Oceanview Cafe this morning at 7AM I love their bakery Pancakes, Waffles, french Toast and Blintz Waffle and pancake toppings I love the newly designed OVC Please move clocks forward 1 hour Radio Pressroom at Cafe Al Bacio Comfortable Loungers There might be a little sun out there Watching News? Yes, the sun is forcing her way through Yes, I wanted to see some blues seas. . . . . 5

PRH Posted May 7, 2019 #111 Share Posted May 7, 2019 Trying to pack for next week—ugh! NJ looks wretched for Sunday and then possibility of showers the next few days. I really hope you have great weather while you are in Bermuda! Getting a little leery of keeping the snorkeling trip.

TIA I think thats a fairly big process involving the steward. From the looks of it, that is not a very good set up for an extra person unless it swings over to the side!

wendyam76 Posted May 7, 2019 #119 Share Posted May 7, 2019 Thank you for a wonderful review! I think the rose is due to your Captains Club status - I know we’ve got them since we hit Elite but we may have got them before then. Wendy
Cachecara Posted May 7, 2019 #120 Share Posted May 7, 2019 Radio, thank you for your lovely postings. We have been on Summit numerous times to Bermuda and before her Zenith. We usually go in July to insure that warmer Atlantic. We went a couple times in Sept until a hurricane diverted us. So now it’s July. I got homesick looking at your photos! Everything looks so fresh! If you have time, are the glittery sculptures of ladies still on each floor at the midship stairways? I used to love them. Again, thank you and have a great time! Mixed reviews on the new style though. Large board with 42 pages so you'll have to scroll through to find them.
