Taxis at Copenhagen airport

How easy (or hard) is it to get a taxi from Copenhagen airport to our hotel, the Marriott Copenhagen?  Do we need to reserve it in advance, or will there be a lot of taxis available at the airport?  Do you prepay at the airport, or just go outside and find the taxi stand?  Thanks!

Plenty of taxis and easy to find.

All take credit cards.

You will arrive at terminal 3. Once you have picked up your luggage,  went through customs and exit, keep right and use the first exit to the right.

It does take 20 to 25 minutes by taxi.

Thank you Hallasm!  Is it just a line outside and you pay the driver?  I know in some airports there is a booth inside where you pay...

It's a line outside (directions to the line are very well marked inside the terminal). There is a person who tells you which taxi to get into, but you just get in and then you pay the driver at the end of your trip. Have a good trip!

Hi neighbor (we're in Dunwoody).  Another option that will save you quite a bit of money is take the bus (I believe it's 5C) from CPH to the hotel.  It's a straight shot and the bus stop is right around the corner from the Marriot.

Yes, 5C - 34 minutes and a short walk from Polititorvet. Need to pay cash in the bus or by App.

Thanks for the suggestions on the bus, but we are senior citizens and will have several pieces of luggage since we will be going on a 10 day cruise, so we prefer to use the taxi.  Approximately how much will the fare be from the airport to the Marriott?  Thanks!

Price will depend on time/day of the week and can also be different from company to company. Price should be US$ 30 to 35.

We will be going to the Crown Plaza Tower.  Any advise how to get there?

Or take the airport train 2 stops to Ørestad. 

 

The hotel is located just across the freeway.

The shuttle bus between Copenhagen Airport, Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers, AC Hotel Bella Sky Copenhagen operates daily from 6am to 11pm every half hour.  First come first serve.

Return trips from the hotels to the airport can be booked at the hotel receptions.

Cost is €2 each way  - to be paid at check-in or check-out at the hotel receptions.
