Purchasing a drink not included in the basic package is easy to do.  One thing, the price in the menu includes a tip.  The ticket for the drink will also include a line for a tip.  Tipping is a personal decision, just wanted to let you know that the menu price includes a tip.

No they don’t both have to upgrade.

Back to the OP, the Premium package does include Aperol. You may want to purchase a Spritz on your first day and try the included sparking wine. If the included is okay, you could just purchase your daily Spritz.

 

I’m a wine drinker, and while some of the included wines are okay, when I’m on vacation, I want to be able to drink what I like every time, so we both always get the Ultimate package (my DH loves his single malt, and I enjoy a few over the trip too.

No, it was removed last year when the packages were updated, was still offered onboard but at an extra charge.
