Daylight . You can just make out thr City through the desert haze . Looks a fair way away.

The main city is to the right of the ship here, what you are actually seeing in the distance would be Sharjah.

Just left Dubai  Jordan here we come . 6 more sea days than Aquaba, Jordan for their visit to Petra if they so desire .

Had an E mail from a couple of friends on board.   A lot of whingers on board, complaining about price of drinks and food quality in particular.  You need to research those issues before you fork out the big bucks for a 'worldie.'

We did not need one for Sri Lanka when we called, but on checking now I see they have changed and you now need an ETA , to be obtained before arrival . I wonder if they refund if the call is missed. ?

It would be a shame if cruise ships stopped calling at Colombo.  We were there last year and loved our day,  people were so helpful.
