That isn't too bad!  Sometimes they will pull cars out of line and let them drop off bags in the bus area that will soon be on your left.  That will save you some time if they are doing that.

Super long line to get into port.  Looks like people decided to follow durations and get in after 7.  Will let you know how long security is.

The ship usually backs in and the port side has views of the Statue and NYC.

I hope everyone who has decided to sail on Anthem has a great cruise, even though it will be shorter than wanted.  I remember getting ready to leave San Diego and saw the Carnival ship (must have been sometime during 2009 I think) that had just been towed in after listing around in the ocean for ever because of mobility problems.  I am sure someone will know which ship and when I am thinking of.  I would much rather have been on Anthem and been late getting back or late leaving than wondering where I would get some food and how I would go to the bathroom.  And if Anthem had not went to Nassau then they would be catching sh.. for not caring about their passengers.  In this case I guess you can't win whether you are RCI or a passenger.  I suppose it could be worse, you could be the passenger who caused the Anthem to go to Nassau.  Hope they are doing well.

Out of curiosity, what is open for food?  Is it WJ/Solarium Bistro serving dinner buffet?  MDR opens tomorrow?

Someone on my FB group who was on the Anthem said the Captain announced that the person who had the emergency is recovering.

Had a medical emergency on explorer a few years ago. It costs $25,000 to air lift someone. Often not covered by insurance. Explorer went full speed into Halifax, arriving at midnight. Patient was stable and awake when they wheeled him off. Cost rccl a lot of money to close casino and shops at 8 pm.

Pretty much all food is open until muster

I just asked about MDR, it is all open seating tonight, Early and Late Dining will start tomorrow.
