Specialty restaurants Meraviglia

Butcher's Cut, Ocean Cay, Kaito Sushi (and Teppanyaki) and Hola! Tapas.

You book when onboard.  Go to the restaurant of your choice when it's open to make the reservation.  In most cases a reservation is not necessary as the SRs are very rarely busy (though Butcher's Cut is very popular).

Kaito Teppanyaki is not included in the Black Card perk.

You have to go to the Carousel Lounge, when bookings are open, to book your time and date.  The times will be advised in the Daily Program;  it's advisable to do this as early as possible once onboard.

On the subject of the complimentary meal for 2 in an SR - you will be limited to choosing from the 'Dining Experience' menu.  Here are the DE menus from Butcher's Cut, Ocean Cay and Hola! Tapas:

Butchers Cut I think 🤔 Bea

I'm so glad you do, Mark!  That would be my 1st choice, too!  If we weren't booked in YC, I'd go more often (though that would entail having to bring extra sets of larger-sized clothes, lol.  I cannot move for an hour or more after an evening in BC).  😜

Haha Bea we will have to play statues in the TSL. The only items I got yesterday were the shoes as hopefully will need a smaller size in October. Best not through any of my current wardrobe  away for when I get back 😬

I think I'm pleased it isn't tempting as we'd wanted to try BC. DH is already in a quandary over the rack of lamb and steak....🤔  He should be sorting his thermals for next week but is very easily distracted when a steak or rack of lamb are involved 😂

These images may make it even harder for him, so:

Check out DH's plate in the photo immediately above - I hadn't even started on my lamb, but his steak is practically demolished!

Let's just hope that it doesn't again kick off the debate about it not being a NY cheesecake lol!  😱  Like anyone cares!  🙄  I hate NY cheesecake which this strawberry one was nothing like!   😋

As it’s on the menu above shall I deflect the cheesecake saga for the ‘chocolate lava cake’ debate?

Originated in France in the late 70’s before it was ‘claimed’ to be invented in 1987 by a US based chef in.....yep you guessed it New York

I don't normally have a particularly sweet tooth but I do love a cheesecake - strawberry, NY or chocolate lava.....feel free to debate whilst I eat the cheesecake 😀

Finally, DH has started his list. He'll no doubt start asking me questions just as the FA Cup kick's off 🙄
