Drinks on us at the casino

You can go to the Ocean Players Club and send an email to Carnival asking your question. There is a topic you can choose where you are confirming your comps. It can take awhile for them to get back to you, but they eventually do. I do this for all my casino cruises with cash and drinks on us so I can print out their response and bring with me on the cruises. It has been my experience with many of such cruises that my husband also receives the Drinks on Us.

What if we have 2 separate rooms? I had the hot streak but she had something different we had to use both bonuses to save money. Our boys will be in one room and us in the other we'll make the switch on board. never had the drink card before so I have no idea.

I recommend checking.   We just went on a Premier cruise, and my husband and I both got it, even though we were booked in separate rooms.  We just had to see the Casino host to get it set up once we got on board.  We knew my husband would get the Drinks on Us card, but had no idea I would get it too.  Since we were in separate rooms, I had already purchased Cheers for myself!  Oh well...live and learn.  We'll always check now.

But with the drinks on us card your only allowed to have drinks served to you while playing in the casino....if your in port you can't get a drink or if your some place else on the ship you can't get one with the drinks on us card, its best to have the Cheers.

Or you can order some beers to take to the room for port days/pool time.  Or you can stop by the casino on the way to dinner for your drink.  What's best for some is not necessarily best for everyone. 😎

We booked a cruise for November on the Miracle on a Casino Offer I received, and I've been wondering if the free drinks only apply to me or also to my husband.  Thanks to everyone who's commented and provided info!  I just emailed the players club folks to confirm my deals.

Thanks for the comments on this thread.  Booked on our first casino offer this trip.  Good advice to email the OPC and verify the comps prior to the cruise.  Thanks for the tip.

What else does the "Hot Streak Bonus" offer include?  I haven't heard of that one before!

I actually booked a hot streak offer (going in September) and talked to my pvp before hand.  He indicated that the drinks on us card would only apply to me, and not my cabin mate.  And I think someone asked, but the Hot Streak offer came with OBC.

The address "www.oceanplayerclub.com" in the "To" field was not recognized. Please make sure that all addresses are properly formed.

Do you guys know if the drinks in the casino bar are the same as those on the rest of the ship?  I was on NCL a few years back with a casino drink promo, and it was a very limited selection including no mixed drinks at the bar in the casino.  Does Carnival use the same practice, or can you have run of the house?  Also, can you walk straight up to the bar in the casino, or do you have to order drinks through a beverage waiter/waitress?

So, do you not need to be sitting actively at a machine/table and playing for drinks?  I'm very curious about this, because if I have the casino drinks on them package, I'm wondering if it's even worth doing the unlimited drinks package.  I don't want to be sitting a slot/table all day just to get booze, but I also rather save my money for excursions and other activities.

You can order any drinks with the DOU card.  Unfortunately, you can't just go up to the bar and order a drink with the card.  You have to be playing and a waiter will come around and serve you.  In most cases, you can move to another machine and they will find you after you have ordered your drink.  I have had one deliver my drink while I was walking around looking for another machine to play.  But I was at a machine when I ordered it.  You can however, go to the casino bar and pay for a drink.
