First time in La Romana

Hello Cruise Critic Members,

 

I'm going to La Romana in the Dominican Republic for my first time. I wanted to know what are the best things to do there? I'm traveling with adults and kids and looking for something everyone can do.

 We did the Saona Island tour with Seavis tours and it was awesome!

Do you like beach or adventure?

 

We did the tour to Saona Island with Seavis and they also take you over to the starfish sandbar as well. Lunch is included. Nice tour. 

 

Last time we did a dune buggy excursion and had an absolute blast!!!! Lunch included and drinks as well. I highly recommend it!

Hi, I tried to message you but it wouldn't allow me. I didnt want to bump an old thread but I'm going to since it wont let me message you. When you did the buggy excursion - I've read that the little schoolkids love gifts/candy/ school supplies. When you went, what were most people giving them? We want to take something but not quite sure what or how much to bring.

cruise critic does not allow instant messaging so that’s why it doesn’t work. School was out the day we were there so I can’t answer your question. No one that was on our tour brought any supplies.

Mitsugirly... Did you do the dune buggies in La Romana or Amber Cove?
