America's cup

We're considering a last minute cruise to Bermuda during the beginning of June this year. Somewhere on these forums I saw somebody talk of issues of traffic, etc due to something having to do with the Americas cup activities there. Yet I can find nothing online whatsoever about anything happening there at that time.  Can anyone shed any light on this?

The America's Cup was a one-off event held in Bermuda in 2017. Though it may return to Bermuda some time in the future it won't be any time soon. The next America's Cup will be held in New Zealand in 2021.

Yes it was. We were there for it, again., we lost the race to the KIWI's.

 

IMHO it was too rigid a runner which wa sthe cause.

 

Any cruise to the Somers Isles (Bermuda) is great.
