Livorno Shuttle Bus

Hi,

 

Does anyone know if Marella provide a free shuttle bus into the centre of Livorno from the port?

Every time we have docked it's only been a 10 min walk in so you may be lucky.

Only been to Livorno with P&O, they provided a shuttle but it was quite a way to the centre and then a short bus ride to the station.

The shuttle bus is payable as operated by the port not Marella; runs very frequently.  Only 3 or 4 euros and takes you right to the centre by the tourist information office (where all the cheap excursions to Florence, Pisa and Lucca go from).  Otherwise you can walk in 10-15 minutes.

 

If you intend to stay in Livorno rather than travelling further afield I can highly recommend the canal boat trip that you bok at the tourist information office - even allowing for the shuttle fare it is a lot cheaper than doing the same trip with Marella.
