Who can tell me about Richards Bay, South Africa & if Dilinza Forest Aerial Boardwalk should be on our list. I was going to book a day tour. We arrive at 6:30 am and depart at 10 pm -We have lots of time. Anyone have a suggestion for a tour guide?

I don't know the aerial boardwalk.

But marginally closer to Richards Bay (about 80 minutes away) if you want an inexpensive taster of a safari is Saint Lucia and the southern end of iSimangaliso National Park.

Lots of hippos, lots of elephants, plus zebra, giraffes, cape buffalo, various antelope, hyenas, warthogs, etc.

And leopards if you're lucky,, but no other big cats.

If you're the adventurous type, rent a car & drive the Park yourselves.

Or car plus driver.

(sorry, no recommendations, we visited during a road trip).

A regular 2WD sedan is fine - most of the Park tracks are unpaved, but smooth.

In Saint Lucia there are bars & eateries also river boats to get up-close-and-personal with hippos.
