Buying duty free alcohol

I know some ports will wrap up your bottles and send them to the ship for you. Is this the case in St Thomas or can you buy a bottle can carry it with you back to the ship. Thank you.

You can buy a bottle and carry it back to the ship however, they have a desk when you get on and you have to check it.  They'll give it back usually the day before you disembark so you can pack in your luggage.
