Buying alcohol at port

You enter and exit the port at the duty free shop. You can buy there and carry it into the ship. But, know your prices. Items like Bacardi and Absolute are 3 to 5 dollars cheaper on the ship. In my opinion, the best prices are at San Maarten or St Kitts if your ship stops there.

I can't opine on the Dufry shop arrangements.  But I never saw returning passengers carrying out bags from the store.

We did buy some Bambarra Rum in Cockburntown and brought it back with us. (Shh...went back on board at busy time and were able to by-pass the liquor table where you hand it in).

Just got back from Grand Turk.  Bought 2 bottles of Bambarra Rum at the duty free shop.  They boxed it and we brought it back to the ship where it was taken and delivered to our room the night before debarkation.  Bambara rum as far as we know can only be bought in Turks and Caicos so I can't compare prices.  We got two bottles for $42.  Will last a long time .
