pre - booking the Sanctuary

Is it possible to pre book a day in the Sanctuary or do I have to book once on board? What is the booking procedure and can anyone advise on this please.

Can not be pre-booked. Procedure is to board early and go directly there to select your day and lounge. The sanctuary is busy on tropical cruises.

If it is anything like the last three cruises I have been on, you don't exactly have to hurry to book the Sanctuary. It was never full on any particular day. On about 6 different occasions I walked right up and was able to book the same day for morning or afternoon. I was on a Caribbean, Transatlantic, and another Caribbean cruise.

The only things you can pre-book for the most part are: excursions, restaurant reservations, internet and drinks.

There are others that aren't purchased as frequently. Check your Personalizer for availability for pre-booking.

If you are picky about the location of your lounge it is best to go immediately.  The limited number of lounges in partial shade get reserved quickly.  You are not only 'competing' against others embarking with you.  On Caribbean cruises you will find many passengers doing back to backs who chose their lounges before boarding even begins.
