Atlantis "Private" Beach

Hi all, 

 

I've been on Cabbage beach before (in front of Riu). I think the beach and water is great, but have found that there are way too many aggressive vendors there for my liking. They just do not leave you alone at all. 

 

I see through NCL, there is an Atlantis beach excursion. Is it safe to assume that the vendors are not allowed on the Atlantis owned part of the beach? If so, I think it is worth the extra money.

That is exactly what I am wondering.  It's hard to get a clear picture sometimes.

Bahamas like most countries does not allow beaches to be privately owned. The vendors would not be allowed on Atlantis property but could not legally be barred from the beach itself.

Depends. At "Atlantis Beach" there is vendors, it's basically part of Cabbage. At the Cove Beach, no vendors.  If you have access to the Atlantis property, you should have no issue going to the Cove Beach. The question is whether you are restricted to Atlantis Beach or if you can go to Cove. Note that Cove Beach is not the exclusive beach area for Cove guests, the names can confuse people. You can walk on to Cove beach easily from the Atlantis property.
