gwatson7 Posted June 10, 2019 #1 Share Posted June 10, 2019 Hi, I recently got back from a Cruise and recieved a free cruise certificate from the Casino for an Oceanview Stateroom. I looked at the dates and nothing really catches my eye (I know, here I am complaining about a "free" cruise). I would like to go on one of the bigger ships and I assume the best options for those would be offers for Balcony or Inside. Is there any chance I could change the options I have? If not, any chance Royal will send me other offers by mail this year if I don't pick one of these cruises? Thanks for the help!

If it provides for a trade in value, book a cruise you want to take, within 30 days of exiting/disembarking that prior cruise, and that sails within 365 days of that cruise. Apply the trade in value of the certificate. You will have to book that cruise through Casino Royale ( 888/561-2234 ) and NOT through Royal Caribbean’s main number. If you have reached Prime status, you should start receiving offers sometime about 1 to 1.5 months after your prior cruise (they are slow in processing paperwork for activating new members). If Prime, you will also receive a free annual cruise on or after April 1 next year, but you have to choose and book a cruise of 8 nights or less in duration. I hope the foregoing information helps. Free cruises start at 2400 points in the casino and go up from there. The more you gamble the better the offers (Inside, Oceanview, Balcony, JS etc.)
gwatson7 Posted June 10, 2019 Author #5 Share Posted June 10, 2019 Thanks @soflalaw for the information! I am Prime so hopefully I will gather some other options in the future as well.
lonig Posted June 10, 2019 #6 Share Posted June 10, 2019 You can go to clubroyaleoffers.com put in your name and Crown and Anchor number and it will list all of the offers you have. Toggle over the name of the offer and sometimes it will give you ship details.
maryred Posted June 10, 2019 #7 Share Posted June 10, 2019 We just made Prime this Mach and have been receiving snail mail offers (starting in mid April) every 2 weeks or so, even though we have already booked 2 of them booked using the free offers in the flyers. Additionally we have a 3rd cruise that we booked while on board (prior to qualifying) that we were given a $700 discount on. In each mailed flyer there is a list of free cruises by cabin class (interior-balcony) that range in duration from a 3 day to an 11 day at various different home ports. There is also a caveat that if none of these dates or itineraries work for us that there is anywhere from $350-500 off any other sailings not listed. For one of the offers we booked we upgraded from the free interior to an OV for $300 more. Just remember these cruises are free cabin fares, taxes and port fees still need to be paid and are charged at time of confirmation

BUT ONLY AIN'T BAD!!!
