12:30 came for us too quick, and we left to get back on the Breeze. Our server, Sergio, went out and flagged a cab down for us, which was very nice of him. That’s kinda the last thing I remember. I have no idea how I made it back to the ship and whole gaps of time are missing from my memory bank. Good job Yaya! We’ll be back!

Oh the missing gaps of time...one minute you’re on the beach, the next you’re in your cabin.  I’ve had that happen before😬

I do remember going straight to sleep when we got back, and not getting up until dinner. When I woke up, I smelled like outside (dog breath, grass, and toe jam) so I took longer in the shower than normal. El yucky!

After we washed the day away, we dressed up for Elegant Evening Number 2. We made it to the dining room right at 8:15 and our table mates were already seated. When we sat down they expressed their dislike of the way BINGO was handled. They were really mad too. Like shaking fist, get off my lawn, mad. I’m not a fancier of BINGO or BINGO related things, but from what I gathered, you had to get BINGO within the first 49 calls to get the jackpot of $3000. No one got it then, but a lady got it 2 calls later, and she only won $500. Our table mates felt that was unfair, and they were going to send a strongly worded letter to that effect, to Carnival when they returned home. W and I inserted our standard “really, seriously, wow, OMG, and what a shame”, but we were really thinking “Good luck with that”.

After the story of the bad BINGO business, I ordered the Crab Cake, Filet Mignon, and Shrimp. For dessert I had Warm Chocolate Melting Cake with Butter Pecan Ice Cream (you can have any flavor of Ice Cream that they have, with it). W had the exact same meal. By this time. we’ve noticed that our servers really didn't interact with us except to take our orders (this is an observation, not a complaint) No small talk. No Q&A. No frills. They were as dry as this patch of eczema on my ankle (at least that’s what I think it is). Good thing we got along with the other guests.

After dinner we went back to 2373.

I didn’t have a hangover, but I was “hangover adjacent”. I could feel the hangover chilling on the sidelines just waiting for me to make one wrong turn, so it could insert itself into my life. Fast and loud. #not today

I stayed in the cabin and caught up with my reading. I didn’t want to overdo anything. I was good, and I wanted to stay that way. W went to the casino. He was gone for a few hours which meant he was at least having fun.

Before I fell asleep, I said a prayer thanking God that nothing crawled or slithered into that bathroom at Yaya. Y’all. I didn’t mention it earlier, but a sister was nervous, cuz it was sketchy for reals! I looked at the floor the entire time I was in there. If an animal, reptile, or insect came in, it would’ve been extremely ugly and unattractive for all parties involved!

I have been following, taking notes, and praising god I wasn't drinking during the honey booboo comment. As I anxiously await Saturday's flight I've been reading reviews. I will be on this exact cruise over Christmas in 6 short months and want to thank you for the insight and STUNNING pictures!

I’m feeling a connection here. Legit this describes like 50% of my interactions in life. I love you for understanding how I feel in these moments.

Thanks for understanding and so eloquently articulating how I feel during these moments too. You seem to really “get” me.

Looking forward to reading how this journey concludes!

OMG good lawd! LOL! I can see young men wearing these and teens and tweens like stuff like that, so I get it. But Grown Men wearing these Rompers, now that's a different story!

I just showed it to my one of my 16 year old sons (the one who is crazy enough to possibly wear it) and even he had the good sense to laugh and say no way! Now, he does have a Santa onesie, that is for home use only, but we won’t talk about that!

Right at 10:44, we jumped up and booked it outta there. There was no reason at all, to stay. We got to the Limelight Lounge about 30 minutes before the show, and it was already filling up. The comedian was Sean Kemp and he was funny. After the show we went back to 2373 and got ready for bed.

Before I fell asleep, I said a prayer thanking God for guacamole.  Not only is it fun to say, but whoever in the history of the world thought up slicing an avocado and adding some veggies to it to concoct this deliciousness, needs to have an express ticket to heaven! Let the church say Amen.

Yes! You are my soul sister, guac is the BEST!

This must be a Costa Maya thing....on our family vacation in April I had the same experience from a different beach club. The last thing I remember is getting into a taxi to go "home," then there is a long blank until we were searching for my uncle in the port, then there is a REALLY long blank to me waking up on the floor of the cabin. I mean....I don't remember getting back on the ship, and my husband claims I was running around the cabin making "monster sounds" until I fell to the floor snoring. But that is all alleged.

Wildra

I am continuing to enjoy reading your review.

Have to agree with you about leaving dirty dishes in the hallway, choosing a cruise over teeth and guacamole ! 😉😀

The photos are great also.

Wishing you and your DH good days !

PS

I noticed you have quite a travel history with Carnival, but have you sailed with other cruise lines ?

Me, too.  Hadn't heard of them before.  What a hoot.  An unusual fashion statement, to sat the least.  It would have made my day!
