I am continuing to enjoy reading your review.

Have to agree with you about leaving dirty dishes in the hallway, choosing a cruise over teeth and guacamole ! 😉😀

The photos are great also.

Wishing you and your DH good days !

PS

I noticed you have quite a travel history with Carnival, but have you sailed with other cruise lines ?

Thanks! We have sailed Royal Caribbean and Disney also. 😍🛳😍

Me, too.  Hadn't heard of them before.  What a hoot.  An unusual fashion statement, to sat the least.  It would have made my day!

It caught me off guard too. One minute I’m minding my own business, trying to see how long the line for Guy’s was, then boom. Twin Romphims! 😱😭🙈

Last Sea Day

We got up around 10 so we wouldn’t miss Sea Day Brunch. I had to open the curtains and let the light in so W would wake up. He was all the way knocked out. Just lazy.

When I arose, I kinda started putting my stuff back together to make it easier to pack later. W woke up and told me that he'd won $700 at the casino. Since we didn’t have a Sail and Sign bill (shout out to the Gift Cards) this was pure profit. Yesssssss!!! They see me rollinnnnn'. They hatin'.

We got to the Dining Room at 11. At 11:42 we still had not ordered our food. Alicesyrup (that’s what her name tag said, and yep, she needs to fight whoever named her that) was our main server. When she came over to take our order it had been so long I legit forgot what I wanted. She apologized for the wait, and I accepted her apology. No problem. However, when I gave her my order, she acted confused as to what I was saying. She would just pause, and give me a blank stare like she had never heard of these menu items before. Or maybe she was having a stroke, I couldn’t tell. When she spoke, she told me it was going to take a long time, because there was a long line in the galley. Alright. Next, she goes over to W and basically did the same thing. When she started to tell him the same thing about the delay, (like he didn’t hear her just tell me), I had to say something. It went something like: Excuse me ma’am, we’ve been waiting 44 minutes already. We are invested now. We are aware that there is a wait. Please take our orders and get gone. The longer you stand here explaining the wait, the longer it’s gonna take. #girlbye

After she took our orders, we waited and waited and waited some more. They sat a table next to us, and they waited for about 20 minutes. Then one of the ladies got up and went to the hostess stand to complain. They sent another waiter over to take their orders. They got their food right when we got ours. We’d been there almost 90 minutes by that time. That’s an hour and a half out of my vacation time that I can’t get back. I also didn’t get my cheddar grits which did not surprise me at all. I didn’t even ask for them again. That’s some real growth for me. #proud #adulting

Ya'll already know one monkey don't stop no show. We were not about to let anything ruin our last day on the Bodacious Breeze! We ate as quickly as possible then went off to find our resting place for the day. We had no luck in Serenity, so we went down to the Lanai on Deck 5. It was a little crowded but not too bad. I like it down there because you can alternate between sun and shade easily. We picked out a few chairs then camped out. While W was content with whatever he had going on, I went and took a few pictures of the ship. I realized that I hadn’t taken very many, and I think it’s cuz we’ve sailed Breeze 4 times and we’ve also sailed Vista and Horizon which are very similar to the Breeze.

Somewhere around 2pm, W got up to get food. He said we were eating Mongolian Wok since we hadn’t had it all week. I was cool with it, especially giving that he was willing to go for both of us.

We ate and lazed around outside until the sun and noise got to us. We switched sides and it was cooler and quieter on the other side of the Lanai. We were out until it was time to get ready for the Diamond Platinum Party which started at 5.

There were so many Diamonds and Platinums onboard, that the party was held in the Ovation Theater. I think that was the largest one that we’ve attended. It was lit, and the drinks and food were on point. We weren’t hurting for anything the entire time, that’s for sure. W tips the servers, so they shower us with drinks. I had to cut him off after 5, cuz it was getting outta hand. Literally. We had no way to carry all of those drinks. The guy playing the guitar was good too. We had fun and I’m glad that we went.

At the end of the party we came back and finished packing. I let W go first while I ran up to Pixels to pick up our pictures. There wasn’t a line at this time and it was a good time to go. It was also pretty organized so it moved quickly.

When I got back to the cabin W was pretty much done with his packing (he just throws the laundry bag in his big suitcase) and I was next. I pulled out the packing cubes and got to work. You can get a lot of stuff in those things if you roll your clothes up right. It also helps to reduce wrinkles. I got finished with my part quickly cuz we wanted to go and catch the final Lip Sync Battle.

LSB was held in the Ovation Theater. We went up to Deck 5 to go in, since you can walk behind the seats and not disturb anyone. We needed to be able to leave right at the end to make it to dinner. When we got up there, there was a stroller blocking the walkway. There was plenty of room to put it behind the chairs, but no, this couple felt it was better to leave it in the middle of the aisle. Like we are outchea looking for strollers to steal. I’m sure most of us have way better things to do on the last day of our cruise than: A. Trip over your stroller, and sprain something or B. Steal your baby stroller with the goldfish crumbs and milk stains in it. Tuh.

After LSB we went to dinner. I ordered the Shrimp Cocktail, Mango Cream Soup, and Prime Rib. W had the Mussels and Alligator Fritters for appetizers with the Prime Rib. We ate and enjoyed our table mates for one last time. It was so bittersweet. We really liked them.

We skipped out on dessert cuz we were too full. I came back to the cabin to finish the notes for this review, and W went to the casino to cash in his chips.

Before I fell asleep I thanked God that I didn’t have to be in the laundry room doing whatever people have been doing in there all day. That place stayed busy constantly. I actually started thinking I was missing out on something great. Dude. What is so wonderful about that launderette that had everyone in there for the past 13 hours???

I have a Onesie too! It's fleece, warm and cozy, perfect for Cleveland Brutal Winters. But I would not be caught Dead out in Public with it on.

We need waterproof onsies lately in Cleveland!

Thanks! I get all of my swimsuits (and about 90% of the rest of my life) from Amazon. :classic_biggrin:

I, too, am owned by Amazon at this point. Who needs Walmart when you can order random crap in the middle of the night and have it show up two days later on your doorstep?

Can we all take up a collection so that you guys can take a third cruise per year? It would be worth it to get to read your hilarious travel logs! Thanks so much for taking the time to share your adventures with us. You have the best attitude and sense of humor.
