I have  been wanting to do this review since getting off the ship on May 5th but have been busy with life. This will be my first review here on Cruise Critic. This review may go in bits and pieces when time allows.

So a little about myself and my lovely wife. We are both in our early to mid 50's and this is our 4th cruise. All of of cruises have been with Norwegian. Our last cruise was in November of 2017 on The Getaway. We loved that ship so we decided to try the sister ship.  We tend not to let too much bother us when on a cruise. After all we are on  vacation so it takes a lot to screw that up so we  tend to go with the flow while on the ship. I will try to post as many pics and I can. There will drink porn and a little food porn. I will try to continue a little later tonight.

Our flight leaving out of Phoenix Sky Harbor departed at 6:00 am so that meant we had to be up at 2:30 am. We were all packed the night before so all we had to do was gather out toiletries and go. We had our  in-laws house sitting and watching our fur babies so we said goodbye to our dogs and we were off.

An obligatory pic of the fur babies giving us the guilt trip. After our last cruise we said we would never over pack again. Well that didn't happen. Maybe next time!

We arrived at the economy parking lot at 4:00 am and unloaded our bags. 2 bags each and a backpack each. At this time were again saying  no over packing next year. We vowed 1 bag each next time. A quick picture of where we parked for reference and we we off on the tram to the Southwest Terminal.

I am a firm believe when going through TSA you have to make sure you have cool socks!

Great  .....I'll follow.  Family vacay on BA  in 3ish weeks.

Favorite spot??    Fav food??  Fav  port or excursion??   entertainment??

My favorite spot on the ship is hanging by the pool. I enjoy the energy and vibe listening to the reggae band.

Our favorite food was at Ocean Blue. Amazing food and service.

Our favorite port is Roatan, Honduras. This was our third time there.

Favorite excursion was Mayan Chan in Costa Maya. This was our first time there. We will be going back next April.

While waiting for our call to board someone came up to us and asked Zencruisers?” We said yes. It was AZYAYA who organized our roll call. They are from Arizona too. We started talking and they had booked the same flight and two of the same excursions (Maya Chan in Costa Maya and Mr Sanchos is Cozumel). This was the beginning of what I am sure will turn out to be a great friendship. We have already booked our next cruise together. It was time to board the plane. We were officially in vacation mode. We began taxiing down the run way.

We booked this cruise about a year and a half in advance so it was a long countdown. We live in Phoenix, AZ so we flew to Ft Lauderdale the day before. From there we Ubered to Miami.

Did you do an over night?

Sailing on Breakaway in September and flying day before to Ft. L

Our flight to Ft Lauderdale had a short layover in Atlanta. We are descending into Atlanta.

Once off the plane to catch our connecting flight we had stopped and what was something disguised as pizza. It was no bueno.
