10:30am flight from Hobby? Any chance?

Could take a 10:30am departure flight out after a cruise, never cruised out of Galveston so no idea if that’s even possible? Thoughts?

It is possible if you do self assist walk off, but still risky.  Sometimes they start letting people off between 7 and 730.   We have been in our car a couple of times by 8 or 830 and on our way back home.  But you have about a 45 to 50 minute drive to get to the airport from Galveston.  Good luck if you go for it!

It’s possible if you walk off , would not try it , have seen lots of traffic going to hobby, but normally a 45 min drive , weather problems can delay ship , we normally book flight noon or later.

Lived in Houston all of my life and even when sailing from Galveston, we come in the night before. Houston is so unpredictable.

It would be a good sized risk.

And stressful way to end a cruise. 

Have a plan B ready should you miss the 10:30 flight!!

No, even if arrive at 0630, one may not be off the ship until after 0730 secondary to the number of self assist. Also then you have approx. an hour drive to the airport. All of this if all conditions are great and no hiccups. Would not book anything before noon.

Your question is worded any chance, and the answer is yes. You'd need to be one of the first off, use self-assist and have your transportation ready to go.

 The second part is your airfare should have a bail out option if you missed the flight. The ship has been docking really early, you can see in on the webcams, and some have left by 8:00 - 8:15. That would put you at Hobby at 9:00 or a little later.
