It would be nice if cruisers from Brisbane could post some pics here of the building works, taken as they sail by.

Someone should have built the airport terminals on the other side of the runways & then it would have been very close from the Cruise Terminal to the Airport terminals

Maybe they can build another security check station and run shuttles across the tarmac.

If only, eh. Then the road network would have made access much simpler.

 

Perhaps it was to reserve more land for port handling facilities and keep general air traffic away from freight on that side.
