“Live From:” Z and TB’s Magical Mystery Tour of the British Isles

Cue the lights! Strike up the band! Set the table! Get out my girdle! It’s time for another “Live From” from Roberto (Z) and Pam (The Boss).

Please join us and feel free to comment/insult as we head out on our latest adventure. This time we are going to London for two days, followed by an 11 day  cruise of the British Isles onboard the diminutive Navigator (she’s small but mighty). We will finish up with three days in Dublin where I plan to sneak into the Guinness plant and dive into one of the vats and drink my weight.

We leave today at 1540 from MIA to JFK, then depart at 2240 for London. We scored business class seats using FF miles onboard American Airlines 777-300.

The Boss started packing last week and finally finished last night. I came home from work yesterday and knocked it out in less than 30 minutes. Of course, I only had one suitcase and a backpack:

Meanwhile: I will need some help to get TB’s luggage to the airport:

I am also stuck with having to hump TB’s carry on bag:

Since I’m an early riser, I indulged in one of my passion by watching “The Way.”  This is a simple movie about Spain’s Camino De Santiago something that I am extremely interested in and would hope to do one day. I love the quienes of our house on Saturday mornings where I enjoy a cup of coffee and listen to the house waking up.

We are heading out soon for brunch before heading out to the airport.

I can’t wait to share our adventures with everyone.

Z and TB

If you drink your weight in Guinness, you will bankrupt the company and deprive the rest of us of Ireland’s best Stout. Sadly, Dublin does not know what they are in for😊

Have a great trip and be safe.

I’ll be following along. You’ll love Ireland and Scotland.  Since you were onboard Navigator in November you will be able to really see what they did during drydock.  We got off Navigator May 30th after a great cruise.  Have fun!

We will be doing this itinerary next year on the Explorer.  Can't you ever get your cruises coordinated with ours????  Have a great trip, and I am looking forward to your escapades along the way.

Z and TB,  please do me a favor and see if our favorite waiter, Mario, is still on board the Navigator.  Thank you, and have a wonderful trip!  This itinerary is a serious contender for one of our future cruises.  Have fun!

Guinness is no longer made in Dublin so your diving into the vat thing won't work, but they do have a plentiful supply. If you're lucky someone who has no taste in beer will give you their tickets for a free one in the after-tour lounge like we got last year.

We are having a lovely weather day in NYC -these days don't come too often so we cherish them when they do.

No storms in the forecast for tonight so you should have no problems with either your incoming or outbound flight.

Have a safe flight!

Defitely. He’s one of our favorites, too and sure hope he’s onboard.

Thanks!  Our biggest concern is taking off from MIA on time due to the scattered thunderstorms.

I’m a New Yorker by birth and just love the city. Go Yanks!

Well, we made it to MIA on time and got through check in, security, and to the lounge in 15 minutes!!!!

Since we we have time to kill, I’m having a little champagne and looking at the chow.

There is a nice spread to include swordfish, ribeye, gnocchi, salads, etc

although im not one to miss too many meals, I usually prefer the boss’ chow.  She can make cat food taste like caviar.

Take off in two hours fifteen min.
