Transportation in Stockholm

Recommended Posts

We are taking a city tour with Alla Tours while in Stockholm.  The tour ends in Gamla Stan and we will stay in town after the tour is over at noon. We are wanting to go on a boat tour at 111 48 Stockholm (10 min drive according to Google map). We don’t know how to get there or how to get back to the ship. Any suggestions?

This isn't enough information to answer your questions.

"111 48 Stockholm" doesn't identify a specific location that I can find, but perhaps someone more familiar with Stockholm will know. Anyway, if you can locate it on Google Maps, click the blue diamond with a white right-angle arrow for directions. In the directions panel, you can choose the mode of transportation. It may be walkable. Or, if you Google the actual boat tour, the operator's web page should tell you where it starts from.

For getting back to the ship, where is your ship going to dock?

Where is your ship docked as there are several docking locations in Stockholm?  Without this info we can't help with return to your ship.

Regarding 111 48 Stockholm, this does not provide a specific address. There are several boat tours that contain 111 48 Stockholm in their address and although they are in close proximity to each other, they are in different locations. For example, is it Stromkajen 111 48, is it 1 Museikajen 111 48? (5 mins apart by foot)

If your boat tour is in either of the above locations you can easily walk from Gamla Stan - less than a 15 minute walk if you check Google Maps.

Strömkajen is used by the passengers boats that heads out on time table schedules routes (just like public buses).

However Strömma also uses it for their sightseeing tours Royal Canal Tour/ Djurgården Runt and

Under the Bridges of Stockholm/Under Stockholms broar. Theoretically it could also be Nybrokajen
since part of it is in 111 48 area code and there are boats stopping there but IMO Strömkajen is more likely.

Museikajen does not have any passenger traffic, only moored residential boats.
