Confirmation X80 express bus in Athens running in 2019

Hi all.

 

Can anyone confirm that the X80 express bus in Athens is running again in 2019?  I don't see anyone mentioning it in reviews or posts, but have seen a couple of websites mentioning that they can't find the schedule posted online. 

 

We were hoping to take the bus when we are in Greece for two days on a cruise ship, but want to pre-arrange a private transfer taxi into the city center if it is not running, as the walk to the metro station would be too much for our little one's legs in addition to all of the walking while we tour. 

 

Any current information would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, it is operating, every 30' betwenn 07.00 and 21.30.

Hi, does the X80 pick  up at the port and does it go direct to Athens or stop to pick people up?

Alternatively there is the 843 bus which runs from the cruise ports to the metro station. You can buy a 24hr ticket which covers buses and metro for about 3 euros I think. Last time we did this there was a small kiosk in the port that sold the tickets.

Is the X80 suitable for taking luggage onboard to shift fro the ship to a downtown hotel?
