Timing of NCL Excursion in a Tender Port

When a Norwegian excursion says it starts at, say, 1:00 PM... does that mean you meet in the theater on board  at 1:00 or are you on shore and boarding the bus at 1:00?  (Trying to decide for Santorini.)  Thanks.

If you're booking with the cruise line once on board they will give you all the info you'll need, but more than likely you'll be meeting before that 1:00pm tour starts in a designated area.

I hope you've also considered booking a private group tour rather than with your cruise line...a much better option...price wise and the amount of people that will be touring with you especially in Santorini.

We just returned from Santorini and it certainly isn't the place you would need to book with the cruise line.

Enjoy whatever works for you as I'm just offering a bit of personal experience....that many on these boards will agree with.

I don't know what they are currently doing in Santorini, but generally if it's sold as a 1:00 excursion, your tickets that are given to you on board will say to meet at 12:45.  Often times, the meeting location (also on the tickets) is the theatre or another public room area.  But sometimes, initial meeting locations will be on shore instead.  Usually if they want you to meet on shore, you get off the ship and look for a sign that has been put up with your excursion name and/or number.  You line up behind the sign.  Then someone will escort the entire group to a waiting bus.

But the net of it is "look on your ticket for the time and location details".

I believe it will be earlier than 12:45pm due to the tender process in Santorini.
