Beach and Pools

Only pool of any siZe is at the port or the water park. Tiny pool at Maya Chan or a couple of places on the malecon

There used to be a pool at Sr Frogs on the malecon. Not sure if that space has been taken by another club or the pool open. The pool at Nacional Beach Club is reserved for staying guests only. Port, best option.  Water park is expensive.

The port will be ideal for you. There is not a real beach but there are swimming pools. Also zip lining, a lot of shops, dolphins, flamingos,...it is a lot of fun in the port.

Pool was nice at port, but the day we were there they were very strict that you can only use the lounge chairs while consuming food and or drink.

Been there three times and never been told anything about having to purchase anything to use the chairs.
