HeyNowMama1315 Posted June 23, 2019 #3 Share Posted June 23, 2019 We were in Cozumel in early September last year. We had a quick and refreshing afternoon rain sprinkling. We were already swimming, so it didn't bother us one bit. It quickly cleared up and was a perfectly hot and sunny beach day.
evandbob Posted June 23, 2019 #4 Share Posted June 23, 2019 (edited) The highest occurrence of Caribbean hurricanes historically has been the week surrounding Sept. 19. The other weeks of September have higher rates of storms than either August or October. That's the main reason September cruises are generally priced lower. If your itinerary is impacted by a tropical storm, Carnival may amend the itinerary, cancel a port or even switch the entire cruise from an eastern to a western or vice versa if that route isn't affected. JohninDC Posted June 23, 2019 #6 Share Posted June 23, 2019 If there is a hurricane your ship will head for alternative ports. If no storm expect great weather with maybe an afternoon thunderstorm.
