Booking Dining on Board

Saw a post suggesting trying to reserve dining when first boarding. I don't recall if it said to go to the individual restaurants or there was a better way.  Thanks.  Our first Viking. Not in the know yet!LOL

You certainly can book whatever allotted reservations you are allowed before you even get to the ship.

But once on the ship you have a couple of choices. 

-You can go to the World Cafe on the port side and the person at the counter there can handle specialty restaurant reservations

-You can utilize the Viking App and look on-line and see what's available and book that way

-You can look on-line on your room TV and book

 

....  or you can just go "standby" and see what's available - by showing up at the check-in desk of each restaurant as the cruise goes on.
