natalie_healyoursoul Posted June 26, 2019 #1 Share Posted June 26, 2019 My sister-in-law wants to take an Alaskan cruise for her 30th birthday in July 2021. Those dates aren't out yet though. Does anyone know when dates get added each year? Thank you!
xDisconnections Posted June 26, 2019 #2 Share Posted June 26, 2019 (edited) Whenever their revenue management department decides they are ready to begin accepting reservations based on itineraries provided by the ship deployment teams. As @fyree39 said, possibly in the spring. Edited June 26, 2019 by xDisconnections

jbethel11 Posted June 26, 2019 #4 Share Posted June 26, 2019 I have heard some posters say they release the summer itineraries in December.
QueenGMa Posted June 26, 2019 #5 Share Posted June 26, 2019 I am waiting on the same time frame. I want to be one of the 1st to book for the 4th of July week 2021! We'll be celebrating our 10th year anniversary and want to book a suite for the 1st time ever!
ProgRockCruiser Posted June 26, 2019 #6 Share Posted June 26, 2019 (edited) IIRC, the sailings for Radiance, which start in April 2020, were announced in Nov 2018. That's when I booked our cruise on it, at least. I am not sure if previously the sailings for Victory had already been released for that date range - I don't think so, but I may not have been tracking it. And this is for a refurb/rename, so maybe that also changes things. On the other hand, the sailings into April 2021 on Mardi Gras were announced in January 2019. So...since it has been about 6 months since the last round of sailing announcements, maybe Carnival is getting close to announcing the next block, from May through Nov 2021? (Need a Shrug emoji/smiley) ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ EDIT: It occurs to me that maybe Carnival is waiting for the Cuba rescheduling "crisis" and the Vista re-bookings to settle out before announcing more sailings... ProgRockCruiser Posted June 26, 2019 #7 Share Posted June 26, 2019 (edited) Ah, here is a thread started in October 2018 that mentions the first of the "late 2020 and early 2021" sailing itineraries starting to get released: So we might have to wait until October (2019) for something after April 2021... EDIT: And I found this thread from 2017 (by doing an external-to-site Google search) confirming similar thoughts: Edited June 26, 2019 by ProgRockCruiser
TigerGalCruiser Posted June 26, 2019 #8 Share Posted June 26, 2019 They usually release them a year and a half in advance. I recall that for the June 2020 Fascination sailing, the dates were released around Nov/Dec 2018.
PhillyFan33579 Posted June 26, 2019 #9 Share Posted June 26, 2019 For the last several years they have been releasing schedules towards the end of the calendar year, so I wouldn't expect to see sailings past April 2021 for awhile. However, there are almost always exceptions to this. For example, last year the future schedule for Panorama was available months before any other ships schedules were released. Also, most of the Spirit class ships were the last to have their future schedules released last year.
