Thinking of booking on the New Radiance for AUG 2020 (It is the Victory being refurbished) .  Leaving NY and heading to Bermuda. 6 day cruise.  Can anyone tell me should I book our balcony cabin on the Port side or Starboard side.  We enjoyed our 1st balcony so much on the dream that we want to have it on our next cruise!  Thanks for any input!

Balcony on starboard side will have view of Statue of Liberty on the sailaway.  the port side would see it on the return to NYC, but chances are that would be very early and not daylight yet.  Your sea days won't matter, and there is no telling which side of the ship will be toward Kings Wharf.  EM

As others have suggested it makes no difference as in transit the sea is the same on either side and there is no way to predict on which side the ship will dock in Bermuda.  (And the view is good from either side in port - one is of the dockyard and the other is of the island). The sights of the NYC will be seen on both sides and will be equally viewed with your departure and return.

Our criteria is based on where our preference would be on the ship. We often have aft facing balconies which provides a very unique aft view and is neutral to any other port or transit situation.  (On many ships these balconies are larger than standard as well).
