Exmouth Info Please!

I'm trying to determine:

 

Where we will be tendered to.

 

Is there anywhere to go snorkeling in or very close to Exmouth other than Ningaloo?

 

Is snorkeling at Ningaloo not advised for beginners?  I have very, very little experience.

 

Has anyone rented a car?  Would the company deliver the car to you?  It looks like a half hour walk to the companies I've found, and I hear taxi service is limited in Exmouth.

Exmouth has a glass bottom boat excursion to the reef.  I have not checked out snorkeling.

We tendered to Exmouth in January.  The dock was out of town, but the shuttle bus took us to either their shopping area or to the tourist center.  Wonderful friendly people.  It is a small town, was very hot, but you should be able to find tourist information online somewhere.
