Do TA's get notified of Royal up bids?

Since they changed the Royal up program where you can bid without an invitation  email via the website, do TA's get notified via email as well if you have been successful?

Good to know. This is our first time using a TA and we recently submitted a RoyalUp bid as well. Will definitely try asking for a rebate of some sort if our bid is successful!

Not per bid, but yes if you're successful.

 

As for commission, it's mostly paid at the same rate as the booking - but some bookings do not get commission on Royal Up at all.

What bookings would those be?  

 

I don’t remember the fact sheet on the Royal Up that was sent to travel agents listing  any exclusions and that commission would be paid at the agencies regular earned rate on the full amount as NCCF’ and taxes had already been paid.

It was my experience that my TA was not told about my upgrade.
