They usually come out when there's no breeze and in the underbrush or amoung the fallen pine needles and palm fronds. For those who are sensitive, I recommend Skin so soft on the beach, but if you are wandering thru the pathways on private islands or thru the brush, I recommend a stronger deet product. (I carry a small palm size deet (off) with me, just in case. Some people are sensitive (me) some are not (SO), we can be in the same place at the same time and I'll be bitten to raw meat and he'll be fine. Make sure your ankles and shins are covered with skin so soft, and bring along benydrl or a sting stick. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
