Rare Barbara B Posted April 16, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 16, 2004 I was wondering what new year's eve is like aboard ship? We are sailing on the Valor 12/26 and was curious as to how it was celebrated aboard? New Year's day is at sea (nice for recovery) Barbara Sun Princess (Alaska, 2002) Carnival Valor (12/04)

zonemasconi Posted April 17, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 17, 2004 I was on the Legend for NYE in 2002/2003 and they make a big ta-do over it. I was talking to the staff on the ship and they said it is one of the holidays that they can be politically correct to celebrate. free champagne and not just one glass either it flowed all over the place. of course a hat, lei, noise maker, blow horn your usual party favors. plus they had a special menu that night for dinner. check pics for the legend for capers/menus. Click here for my Cruise Pics ***PROUD MEMBER O.A.T.C.*** Opinions expressed by the poster are not necessarily the opinions of Cruise Critic or the Independent Traveler.
