Lousy website? Trying to find info on AquaTheater Suites

Recommended Posts

I haven't sailed on RCI in a longer time. Typically I don't like huge ships, but I would like to take my grandkids on an Oasis Class ship, primarily because of the AquaTheater Suites, but I can find scant information of the suites, or even much good information on rooms in general on the Royal Caribbean website. Is there a secret to the website to get solid info? Are the rooms still called AquaTheater Suites or have they changed names? I find lots on the Internet about AquaTheater Suites, but not on RCI's website.

That is the EXACT link I have an issue with. There is nothing clickable on that page (unless my browser isn't allowing links) that takes me to a description of the AquaTheater Suites (A1, A3, A4), it has "Sea Suites", "Sky Suites" and "Star Class", but since they aren't hyperlinked, I have no idea which category the AquaTheater Suites are.

When I Google "Harmony of the Seas A1" (for example), none of the results take me to an rci.com result that describes the cabin or makes it easy to find pricing and itineraries.

I don't believe you will be able to find prices on Royal's website for A1 or A2 category suites as those look to hold more than 4 guests, and booking those would have to be called in or use a travel agent.

Try inputting your info into Google ...like  RCI ship name and even cabin number...YouTube videos will pop up here and at least you can see a tour of the cabin, besides the basic info link those above have offered.

They have changed that for now.  On the 2nd President's Cruise, I sat down with an IT guy with my list of issues for the website.

One of them was the inability to price out the A1/A2/RFS etc that hold more than four guests with out the painful process of calling .

After the cruise he communicated with me that they were able to take off that restriction and they would be visible on the website/ta site without having to call.

I have been able to get pricing for these suites using non royal sites that I use to check them allow for you to check, the royal site shows it as available but when you try to click on it it says not available.  You still have to call to book though.

Google the ship and cabin number such as Oasis of the seas 7330 or Harmony of the Seas Aquatheater suite + cabin #

Then click either pictures or videos though I recommend using videos.

Thanks for the thoughts and help, I do appreciate it. It also highlights my frustration with the RCI website because I'd like NOT to have to go to outside sources to show me how great their cruise line is. Their own website should want me to never leave their site.

I've had no issue booking an A1 with two passengers twice now. Once on the website and once with NextCruise.

Even though I didn't...I've seen them on the website several times also, and could have easily booked one for the two of us.

Maybe this link will help?

Yes, a great link and more clear than anything else I've discovered on the website so far. Thank you for that!

I should have included this link too

https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/what-are-the-benefits-of-royal-suite-class

I agree their website not very user friendly! Each time they "upgrade" it, it takes longer and longer to search for what you are looking for.
