Review of our Silversea Galapagos cruise

My wife and I sailed on the Silver Galapagos in December and wrote a two-part story about it which appeared in April on my blog. The blog is on a website called "Gentleman's Portion", which is a collaboration among three friends - me, Jim Walker and Nigel Napier-Andrews. I write about travel (mainly cruising), Jim writes about wine (and he knows his grapes), and Nigel writes about food, whisky and travel. Hi.  We (me, husband and 11 y/o son) are sailing on Silver Galapagos in March and received an offer today to upgrade from Veranda Suite 5th deck to Silver Suite 6th deck for $2,500 extra total.  Does anyone have any insight on whether this is a good deal and we should take it - especially with three to a cabin.  Thanks.

I agree. We were offered an upgrade to a balcony cabin on our cruise, and taking it was one of the best decisions we made.
