Hi I am looking for a no fly cruise from uk to Florida (anywhere, happy to drive) September/October 2020.

I want to stay at least a week in Florida.

I cannot fly as I have sinus and ear problems and my family desperately want to go back to Florida (particularly Orlando and keywest) and I really want to be a part of this.

Any ideas please?

THere should be a number of ships moving from Europe to the Caribbean in the Fall. Not necessarily  from the UK.  The Enchanted Princess is doing one in October or the first of November.

Your problem is going to be getting back. Few if any ships are making the eastbound crossing during the winter. Possibly Cunard and one of the Queens. It could leave from NYC for Southampton.

Have you tried a travel agent?

Look for a "re-positioning cruise", October-ish.

That's when a lot of cruise ships finish their European summer season sailings out of Southampton & Dover & mainland Europe and cross to Florida (mainly Miami) to start their winter season sailings in the Caribbean & thereabouts. Those sailings are usually quite cheap (the ships have to go, so they might as well try to fill them) and include a few ports in Europe or the Caribbean.

I'm guessing you can't  then wait until the Spring for them to re-position to Europe :classic_wink:, so you'd  have to make your way from Florida to New York to cross back on the Queen Mary 2 which has fairly regular trans-Atlantic crossings.

Alterrnatively the opposite way round in the Spring, March/April time - Cunard Southampton to New York and repositioning cruise Miami to UK.

Easiest if you ask a cruise specialist travel agent to check out the options & quote you for the two crossings.

We can't name travel agents on Cruise Critic, but just google "cruise agents UK".

Phone them & talk to real people, far better for your initial inquiry than using the internet

Cruise to Boston or NY and then take the train to Florida.

Flying KILLS my ears, too...but taking Sudafed (the 4 hour pill, not the 12 hour one) before and throughout the cruise helps me IMMENSELY !!!!  I start the night prior to the flight, and continue until I land...it's worked!  I've been in such god-awful pain in past flights that I was nearly screaming......the Sudafed relieves this. You  may know it by the name Psuedoephidrine.

There are 2 round trips from the UK to New England or Canada in September 2020, with P&O. You would have to get a travel agent to negotiate with P&O to see if they will allow you to leave the ship in either country, and you would be charged the full fare.

Sept 4th. Arcadia to Portland/Bar Harbor/St John

Sept 18th Aurora to Canada... and it says New England, but I'm ignorant (!) so didn't work out which port this was 😮 The price I read on one agent's board was £2352- but remember that that would include the days back to the UK, which you don't want, but would still have to pay.

Both ships are medium size and adult only.

26 October 2020 Southampton Port Canaveral  Norwegian Escape

1 November 2020 Southampton Bayonne (NJ) Anthem of Seas - need a long Amtrak in USA

23 November 2020  Southampton Ft. Lauderdale Crown Princess

Then a Cunard home on QM2 fairly regular service needs studying.

a few I have found.

Regards John
