Whats the view of the masses on Constellation? Booked it for next year, after its re-fit, or whatever its makeovers called.

And how is it different to Edge?

We have only done 4 cruises, all on Celebrity.

Our first 2 were on the Constellation and we loved the size of the ship.

Personally preferred it to the Equinox.

We were on the newly refurbished Millennium in March this year and imo its lovely.

New carpets, furniture, etc

The MDR decor is beautiful!

Stateroom was updated and fresh/bright in appearance.

Looking at booking newly refurbished Constellation next year!

We booked it post refit.  The last few M class ships I have been on pre refit, I found the staterooms to be a bit shabby.  Also, the showers tend to have mildew in the grout, etc.  We just got home from the Summit post fit, and was very happy!

It  will  likely be more like the Summit  after  it was redone..

Not really like EDGE.. in a new ship  class of its own with APEX!

The Constellation is smaller than the Reflection or the Edge.  And has  only has 3 speciality restaurants including Sushi on 5.  Reflection has 6 speciality’s and Edge has 6 or 7 if you include dinner on the MC.  There are fewer of everything, except elevators banks, on the Connie which  has elevators forward midship and aft while the Reflection and Edge have elevators forward & midship only.

Not sure if I count as ‘the masses’, but love the Connie. Nice M-Class ship. The special about these ships, for me, is the T-Spa pool up forward. Usually adult only and free.  A warm saltwater large pool with lots of action and pipes in the corner with water gushing out -  you stand under them and get a great shoulder/back massage! On the sides are steel pipes that form lounges you lay on in the water and bubbles come up through them. Fantastic. I get a SR up forward deck 8/9 so we can zip up in the morning and enjoy the pool.

Connie has nice El Bacio coffee/snack area and relaxing common areas. Lovely ship.

Enjoy

Thanks for all the comments. Looking forward to it. Even though its 10.5 months away.

Edge is an amazing ship, IMHO, but looking massively forward to a smaller ship.

And a traditional balcony.
