14 Day Caribbean Itineraries

Any shot of bringing the 14 day Caribbean Cruises back ?   I know a lot of people would love these, 11 and 12 day cruises just aren’t the same. Thanks!

Also bring Back  the 14 night to New England and Canada from Cape liberty, X shortened 2 days now starting at Boston.

So disappointed when the 14 day Southern Caribbean sailing were discontinued. 

So excited when the Jan 31, 2020 Silhouette was added. Booked immediately. 

So sad when the Silhouette was later cancelled, but thank you for the offered compensation. 

Booked a 6 & 8 night B2B, but not quite the same as the 14 night.

Not worth my while flying across the pond for a cruise less than 14 days. Last year we did a B2B but just not the same.

14 day for sure is our choice.  Had to book with Princess to get a true 14 day in March 2019 after our Silhouette cruise was cancelled.

We also miss the February 14 day cruises. We have limited vacation time and cruise once a year. It was the perfect winter vacation. We did a number of back to back cruises but it isn't the same so, after the 1/31/2020 Silhouette cancelled cruise we changed cruise lines. It will be a new experience that we are looking forward to but we were happy with Celebrity so had never felt the need to look for alternatives.

We are on the 11 night cruise next month and enjoy two days before and after in nice hotels.

Yeah back to back, 11 days or 12 days just are not the same.  There is something magical about a 14 Caribbean Cruise.   We got the chance to do two of them and were also said when Silhouette  had to get canceled for next year.

totally agree. and making up the extra time in hotels before and after is definitely not the same either.

We just like the mix of both, nice hotels in Miami and Fort Lauderdale ( Manderin Oriental and The Pillars) along the time on the ship, Port stops don’t mean a huge amount to us these days ( we’ve been to many of the islands more than one time).

I get the island repetition thing. Been there done that, etc.. A reason why were off to Dubai then b2b to the Far East this winter . 2x 14 night cruises with hotels at either end and in the middle, an overnight. . Hawaii next year. A change of islands for us. 

Maybe , if there is enough demand Celeb will reconsider the 14 nights in Caribbean, although I doubt it. Maybe then , I`ll reconsider .

So basically you aren't interested in listening to your UK and European customers who have no intention of a long haul flight for a seven day cruise.

It`s all about exposure. Shorter cruises attract a younger clientele who can't afford to take 14 days off work. They are inclined to spend more , whereas a 14 day attracts mainly older, retired customers who spend less . 

7/10 day cruises rotate more spenders...It`s all about money...

Yes, but the 14 night sailings were only offered during winter months when younger folks are less likely to schedule vacation.   Pricing for that itinerary was always respectable as there was little competition.  The 7 night market is lower priced and puts them up against a glut of competition from Royal, MSC and others who offer newer ships with many more activity and entertainment options..
