First Time in Key West with kids 14/4....

I know there's a search function, but there are just so many posts, some may not be updated - wondering what you might suggest we do in Key West - we are there from 7am until 6pm... never been there before.... what are some suggested activites, must see?  I think we are going to do parasailing with Fury..... which i guess is right near the cruise port behind the margaritaville resort.  Can you do a day pass there?  Open to suggestions but needs to be family friendly with my 4 year old and 14 year old cherubs.  

 

We will be sailing on the MSC Armonia Sept 23rd-30th.

Our first time to Key West our kids were 5 and 10. We rented bikes and rode around Key West, out to the Southern Most Point (the famous buoy) for a photo op and we took in the aquarium right down town ( a bit pricey but my boys got to pet sharks 🙂 ).

The Butterfly Conservatory is great with kids.  The Aquarium has touch tanks and feeding schedules for sharks.  You can also go to the free Eco-Discovery Center.

KW isn't really a "beach" destination.....much better beaches at other ports.

The day we are in KW is actually my sons birthday which is why I thought we’d do the parasailing.....

There should also be discounts for everyone else in the party.
