Veterans Gathering

I was just curious to see if there are any vets that would be interested in a get together while on the Celebrity Silhouette, 12/1/2019.

I attended a gathering on my last cruise, Celebrity Reflection, 12/7/16.

It was a good get together, the captain and the cruise director attended along with a minister who who said a very nice prayer, there were complimentary beverages and snacks available and it was very nice and good opportunity to meet other vets, even from other countries and all services.

Cannot help you with a specific cruise, however I believe that Celebrity normally offers a Veterans event on their ships and it is posted either on a bulletin board or in the daily paper.

Once on board check with the cruise director/staff and ask for a location/time/date.  Once you have that ask them to promulgate the event in the daily news...

Princess did the same on our Alaska cruise last month and it was well attended.  I was in a TACAMO squadron, a small part of the Navy, and wouldn't you know it but there were two of us sitting right next to each other!

You might post the initial question on the roll call for your cruise -- see the Roll Call section -- and then be talking with people who are going to be on your cruise.
