Drinks package

Just seen that a drinks package costs $55 per day plus 18% gratuity. Can any UK RCL cruisers advise if there is ever any discounts on these that make it better to wait to purchase? I know the US have different discounts.  The cruise is from Barcelona round the Med if this makes a difference.  Thanks in advance.

If you are committed to purchasing the package, then buy now and watch the price.  If it goes down, cancel and reorder.

Oh thanks for quick replies, do they just refund you if you change your mind once purchased? One further question do you have to buy for the whole cruise or can you just buy for say the last 3-4 days??

They refund the total amount if you cancel, and it could take a few days to show up on your credit card. 

 

You do not have to purchase for the entire cruise, however the entire cruise is the only option if you purchase pre-cruise.  You will have to purchase on-board (at prices unknown) to limit your package to the last 3-4 days.
