Transportation from EWR to Brooklyn Cruise Terminal

Maybe this has been discussed before but I looked back 5 pages and didn’t see anything. What is the best way for 2 adults (each with a large bag and a carry on) to get from ERW to the Brooklyn Cruise terminal late morning  on Sunday August 1.
