When I was on HoS 3 weeks ago. freestyle were in pizza place, Mini Bites, and WJ.  I've always read that soda can only goes to people who pay as opposed to drink package, however, my wife was able to get a can, unopened, at the hot dog place on Boardwalk.

Laura got one at casino bar

Do you know if they had a white party this week? I usually see it once I'm on board and have nothing white to wear...trying to pass along the info for the young twenty-somethings in the group. We sail this Sunday the 11th, frantically packing now....Your review is great!

Judy, I have a request if you are able to do it, if not, don't worry about it. I am the coordinator of a group, 27 seniors, and we are having a terrible time getting our dinner reservations. The Silk Dinning Mgr. agreed to seat all of us together at 5:45pm. Would you please find out his name and ask him how I can communicate directly with him before our sail date, Oct. 6.

Going to the RCI home office is not working for us, we really wanted to eat at 6:30 as a group and all they say is NO, I am not happy with how RCI handles groups. The worst part is RCI opened MTD months ago but kept putting us off saying they could not handle it until 50 days out from sailing. Guess what, now MTD is booked up and our group is stuck, and it sucks. Thanks to you if you are able to inquire, love your review and hope we can get this worked out before our sail, if I don't I will be talking to the Dinning Manager and let them know how unhappy we are. Thanks, thanks, thanks, Linda

Still working on a name,  but at MTD tonight, the with reservations line at 6:30 was non existent,  and the without line was massive. However, when we left at 7:30, there was no line.

Dinner tonight was awesomeness, second best only to Izumi

I think they did. I know they had a RED party and a silent party. Tonight is 90's night on the Promenade

That is unfortunate. I always look forward to returning to St. Maarten. Rain takes some of the fun out of the day.

Got our beach front loungers reserved already for three weeks today at HH.

John loves CATS and NA, what did you expect?

in my opinion.....

There's at least one other thread where John is pretty much the only person who likes Cats.   We did a b2b on Oasis a couple of years ago and sat through the first half on the first leg and the second half on the second leg.  I was hoping it got better, it didn't.  Hard to follow, lots of leg warmers (lol) boring show.  Even the most well known song isn't even until the second half and very anti-climactic.  I've seen many Broadway shows in NY and I'm glad Cats wasn't one of them.  We're on Harmony in Nov for a b2b so we'll see how that goes.  But, I'm pretty sure nothing can beat Cats for bad theater.  Just because it's Andrew Lloyd Weber doesn't make it a great show.

Sorry you missed it, but Memory ends the first act as well.

I am a theater snob, and I will be the first to admit, ALW has some serious misses (Starlight Express,) I join John in my love for Cats, having seeing it 5 times on stage and wearing out the VHS when I was younger. Yes it is strange and mostly plotless, but the music and dancing is just beautiful.

Though, the new movie's trailer still haunts me...

I LOVED being on 8, it was fabulous.  Did you have a guitar player in Central Park?  I sat there  with a glass (or two🤩) wine and was very happy!

When we walked by it was a keyboard player.

Well, now, that’s hard to believe!

I love Oasis but won’t go back till CATS is gone.

Good to have choices.

I, on the other hand, am willing to drive to South FL to see the new production version of CATS.

And I really hate driving down there.

Maybe I'll ask MB why they extended the contract

I agree. CATS is one of the most popular stage shows of all time. It's been seen by millions and has grossed billions worldwide. It changed the face of musical theatre. It's not for everyone and I respect that. But it wouldn't still be around if most people felt the way many on this board seem to feel.  I love CATS. I saw the original Broadway cast back in 1982 and have seen it countless times since then. Whenever we're on the Oasis, I attend all three performances. I'm the one up front singing (silently) along with the cast to every song. 😎

FYI, Lou told me he had the Flowrider to himself the morning session in St Maarten.

That's amazing. From now on we shall call him Lucky Lou.

I have it booked for the second night, private rental without instruction, for Owen and I.  You can now book the entire wave on line for a private rental, with or without instruction. Thats new since our March cruise.  Enjoy your sea day today.

I talked to the guitar player who was from the Ukraine and he had an advanced degree in music.  What a nice guy!

I tipped him ten dollars.

They also had an actress from Grease singing one night.  My granddaughter and I sat and listened to her.  It was magical.

Hey, Starlight Express does not send audiences fleeing!

London was the best place to see it, though.

Almost interactive theater with the skating tracks so close.
